In My Mailbox - A Kindle Kind of Week

No VLOG this week.    (I couldn't possibly top last week's tour of my library ;) Anyway, all my books are on the Kindle, so there wouldn't be much to show you.  I've been searching out the "deals" and here's what I added to my Kindle collection this week:

The Three Musketeers, by Alexandre Dumas

This is a classic that's been on my TBR for a while. Alas, I think it will be a while before I get to it, but at least I've taken the first step!

The Dark Divine, by Bree Despain

Heard a lot about this one, just couldn't resist.

Dead Barchetta, by Kathryn Lively

Come on.  There's a guitar on the front. And I'm a huge Rush fan -- seen them in concert a few times. And, this might be the first book I get my husband to read on my Kindle (after me, of course!)

Water Wars, by Cameron Stracher

I'm kind of worried about this. I think the is a plausible premise -- more so than most dystopians. Decided to check it out.

The total charge for these items was $9.75.  That's right.  All those books for less than $10.00.  I'm pretty excited about that.

Thanks to The Story Siren for hosting In My Mailbox every week.  Thanks for visiting, and go find some other IMM posts to check out!

  7. Interesting looking books! I read The Three Musketeers to review it for The Historical Novels Review a few years ago. It took awhile to get into the book, but it was worth the effort.

  8. I've been wanting to read The Three Musketeers too, it looks like such a fun book.

Good luck with planning your daughter's wedding. My mum is in for a busy year because I'm getting married in the summer and my sister in the autumn! I'm determined to stay relaxed and enjoy the planning - I'm only going to get married once after all :)
