The question of the week is:
If you are a fan of Science Fiction what is your favorite book? If you haven't read Science Fiction before...any inkling to? Anything catch your eye?
This question is a bit ironic, because I just re-read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card because I just had the urge for some great science fiction. So I guess that series would be my answer. I've gotten away from reading much science fiction, but once in a while, I just need to read that genre again.Yea! Crazy-For-Books has the blog hop question up a little late - but it's a good one, so I'm editing this post!
"What book(s) would you like to see turned into a movie?"
I think The Passage by Justin Cronin would make a great movie!! Great zombies!!
Hope you have a great week, and I hope to see you back here next Friday!
That book has been on my to-read list forever, science fiction isn't really my thing but I really wanted to read Ender's Game... Here's my post this week:

Happy reading! I hope you have a lovely weekend!
I love science fiction, but I have yet to read Ender's Game. It's on my list and I plan to get to it someday, lol. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it! :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen Ender's Game a lot today so I'm eager to read it!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend :]
Hopping through. I should re-read Ender's Game. It's been a long time. I want to read more of Orson's books.

That's how I feel about Sci-fi and westerns too, now that you mention it! It's refreshing to return to a genre after you've been away for awhile. :) New follower from the hop. Happy Friday!

I am a first timer to the blog hop and this is the first time this book was suggested!
ReplyDeleteThe next time you feel a sci fi urge coming on - The City of Pearl by Karen Traviss is *so* good; I just couldn't put it down.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading "Afraid" by Kilborn and think that would make a good movie. Terrorists that have been programed to intimidate and do evil things and just a few people in a town to fight against them. Just right.

My Husband really loved the Passage, but he didn't mention zombies! Now I'm going to have to read it!

I just finished reading Across the Universe, and oh, how I loved it.
ReplyDeleteYou know what else is really good? The Search for WondLA by Tony DiTerlizzi. Amazing art, and a really cool story.
I haven't heard of The Passage. Maybe I'll check it out?
What book would I like to see as a movie? Gosh, that's hard, there's so many good ones. I'd love to see the Mistborne books by Brandon Sanderson on film... even though they are long!
Hopping on over:) The Passage is on my Mt. TBR, I've heard good things about it, I'll have to put a request in a work so I can try it for myself.
