In My Mailbox - The Salt Edition

This week I received a review book, The Limping Man, which is the third book in the Salt Trilogy by Maurice Gee. The book was from the publisher, Orca Books, through LibraryThing. The package also included a pin and bookmark (awesome!)

So, since this is the third book in the series, I  got the first on from the library:





So, I'm excited to read Salt first, and then I'll read the second one (Gool) before reading The Limping Man.

I brought home a few more books from the library too:

 

I have read Enders Game, by Orson Scott Card many years ago, and just wanted to read it again because I remember really enjoying that whole series. The Replacement, by Brenna Yovanoff has been showing up on a lot of blogs and sounds very intriguing.

    I've never heard of the Salt series before. Will be interested to hear what you think of it. I have The Replacement and am really looking forward to reading your thoughts on that one.

    The Gee books have really intriguing titles. I haven't heard of them before. I read Ender's Game years ago too. It was such a haunting story. I read The Replacement too and it was a good dark fantasy. Happy reading!

    Ahhh Ender's Game! Looking forward to reading your thoughts about this one. It's on my wishlist to have. I've never read any sci-fi, hopefully I'll be able to read it soon!
