Follow Friday - the End of the Blogger Blackout!

Whew! So glad to be back. Felt like I lost my best friends there for a while.

Over at Parajunkee's View, the follow Friday question is:

Q. The Blogger Apocalypse made me a little emotional. What is the most emotional scene in a book that you have read lately?

Well, not lately, but I remember reading The Stand, by Stephen King many years ago, and it scared me. Made me worry about the end of the world. Recently, some parts of The Passage, by Justin Cronin got me a little emotional.

Hope you have a great weekend! I've got another busy one, so I'm not sure how much I'll be around. Glad to "see" you all again, though!

  3. I've seen The Stand, but I haven't read it yet. It was on my radar a couple of years ago, but I never got to it. I need to get to it!

  5. The Blogger Blackout had me freaking out, too! Funny how dependent we come to be on our online blogging personas. :) I've never read the Stand, but right now my English class is watching Stephen King's Storm of the Century (after having read the screenplay). It's quite terrifying-- sounds similar to how I imagine the Stand must be.

    Have a great weekend, Annette!

  7. I keep on staring at THE PASSAGE at B&N and then I pick it up, read the flap some more and then put it back. I'm going to have to take the plunge when I have some time and just do it.

  8. I can read books that are emotional but I can't read them if they are sad and make me cry. I'm also really sensitive so I guess I get emotional about everything (or that's what my husband says anyway).
