I also wanted to let you know about another wonderful blog that you should check out. Ashley @ Books from Bleh to Basically Amazing does a weekly post called Memory Monday. She has been posting about her childhood memories of books. What's great about Ashley's site is that she is asking for guest posts for her Memory Monday event! So hop on over there and check it out. I'm hoping to do a guest post for her soon!
I used to be a huge Stephen King fan. Read every one of his books and couldn't wait until the next one to came out. This was during my high school years and part of college (in other words, a while ago.) I think the first King book I read was Firestarter -- if it wasn't the first, it was ONE of the first. I was hooked. No one writes horror like King. I don't read much of this genre any more. I haven't read any of King's newer books, but I will always remember how much I enjoyed those old classic novels. Someday I would like to read them again.

Firestarter was my first Stephen King book, too! It's an excellent read, and I saw the movie recently... pretty good, though it couldn't possibly live up to the book. :)
ReplyDeleteI have just read Salem's Lot by Stephen King. I really liked it but it creeped me out so much that I could never try another Stephen King again.
