I was very exited to finally recieve my review copy of Night Road by Kristin Hannah from LibraryThing!
And, I won a copy of The Red Church by Scott Nicholson (Kindle version, yea!) from Bewitched Bookworms!
I was in the mood for some good Christmasey books, so I checked these out from the library:
Holidays on Ice, by David Sedaris
and ... wait for it ... Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan. I've read so many good things about this book lately, that I can't wait to read it, but I also kind of want to save it for right before Christmas. What to do???
That's it for me this week. Thanks for stopping by. What's in your mailbox?
Yay Dash and Lily! I wanted to save this book for xmas but...too tempting. If you are already in holiday mood, you should start it. Snuggle up on the couch, with a hot chocolate and some cookies and start reading:)Enjoy your new books!

I won Night Road from Goodreads, but I haven't gotten it yet. Will be curious to hear what you think.
ReplyDeleteDash and Lily is good any time!
Night Road looks really good- hope you like it!
ReplyDeleteI just read Dash and Lily and loved it! Perfect for the holidays, or any time really. I couldn't wait, and read it around Thanksgiving.
Happy reading!
Dash and Lily are on my wishlist, too! If you want to read it now, why not? It's the Christmas season! Close enough, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! This is my In My Mailbox :)

My IMM
Can't wait to hear about "Night Road", I tried to win it in the LibraryThing giveaway too, but wasn't as lucky. Instead, I won another book, which still hasn't arrived (sigh). It was from an Oct Giveaway. Anyways, I'd recommend waiting a little bit closer to Christmas to read Dash & Lilly's Book of Dares. I've heard nothing but good things about that one, but the one thing which sticks in my mind is they all wished they'd have waited until closer to Christmas to read it.
ReplyDeleteReading Dash & Lily right before Xmas is my plan too. I definitely need something to get me in the holiday mood. Happy reading this week, Annette!
ReplyDeleteI have The Red Church on my kindle waiting to read, and Dash & Lily was lovely. I hope you enjoy them!
