I was one of those "I hate fantasy" people. Then along came Harry, and I couldn't be out of the loop, so I picked this book up and devoured it! I've read the entire series twice, (which is the only series I can say that about -- I rarely even read an individual title twice!) And needless to say, I've read and enjoyed many, many other fantasy, paranormal, magical books since this one.  Thanks, J.K Rowling!
