Q. Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?
Oh, that's an easy one. Voldemort, of course. Uhhhh --- just kidding!! I don't really think so. I'm a pretty "traditional" reader and don't tend to think too much outside the box when it comes to good vs. evil. I'll be very interested to read some other answers to this one, though! Bring it on!
Ginger at GReads! has an interesting question this week:
Books to Television: Which books would you love to see made in to a tv series? or movie?
I'm afraid I'm going to totally bail on this question. I don't watch that much TV, and I've never really watched a show that came from a book. No Vampire Diaries, no Friday Night Lights, no Pretty Little Liars. As far as movies, I have little faith that I will like them as much as the book (although The Help proved me wrong about that) but I think Ship Breaker or Divergent would both be movies that I would at least want to watch.
Have a great weekend, and thanks for visiting. I'll try to return the favor.
I’m always torn about fall. Love the cooling temps and changing seasons in the Midwest, but not looking forward to what comes after fall....
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!

I'm a pretty traditional reader as well. It has been fun to see everyone's answers to this question. Most people don't want the villain to win, but there are a few who have.
ReplyDeleteI'm always slightly hesitant with movie adaptations. Some are fabulous and others are dreadful.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch much TV either. I haven't watched any of the series you mentioned. :D
Divergent would be awesome though.
thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great weekend.

I'm sure there was a villain I would have liked to have beaten the hero but I can't think of it right now! Intriguing question, though.
