What are the parameters for book selections? Some appear to be recently published while others were published several years ago. For the Evergreen Awards (WA State) books have to be available in paperback to be eligible.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have to do the paperback thing, but that eliminated some books that were very popular, and then they get nominated after they are "old." So now we don't have that requirement. Publication date must be in the last 5 years. Author living at the time of nomination. No translations. Only first book in a series.
