Feature and Follow Friday: Villains

Here's Parajunkee's and Alison's question for Friday:

Who is your favorite villain from a book?

A blast from the past for me: Gary Soneji, from James Patterson's Alex Cross series. He's despicable. He's one of the earliest villains in the series, and appears in two books (I think.) I know these books are formulaic, but there's something very appealing about them. My heart always pounds as I fly through the books (they are usually pretty quick reads). I love them and can't get enough of Alex Cross. There's a new one coming out in February, and I haven't read the last one yet!!!

How about you? Do you have a "favorite" villain? Leave me your link in the comments. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. OMG I totally forgot about Alex Cross books! I read the first few in the series eons ago when they first came out. I honestly don't remember them, or Gary, but I do remember loving the intensity! They pulled you right in, those awesome little suckers! Thanks for the blast from the past! :)

  3. What a fabulous choice Annette. He was evil personified. May'be I should re-read some of those oldies, but goldies?

  4. I haven't picked those up yet. Although, I have watched a couple of the movies, but I don't remember them well and my guess is they're nothing like the books since movies rarely are.

  7. I've only read one Alex Cross book but I did enjoy it. Your villain doesn't sound familiar (though it's been awhile since I read the book).

I have no problem with formulatic books, so long as they are entertaining :)

Thanks for visiting! I LOVE comments! I've received several awards and because of the time involved, I now must make this an award free blog.
