Monday Memories - Charlotte's Web

Welcome to my meme, Monday Memories, where I feature favorite books we've loved from the past. You can link to an old review, or write something new about a beloved book from your past. Really, what's important is not the book, but why it is memorable to you. So, have fun reminiscing, and add your link below, so we can all enjoy your memories.

I also wanted to let you know about another wonderful blog that you should check out. Ashley @ Books from Bleh to Basically Amazing does a weekly post called Memory Monday. She has been posting about her childhood memories of books. What's great about Ashley's site is that she is asking for guest posts for her Memory Monday event!  So hop on over there and check it out. I'm hoping to do a guest post for her soon!

Charlotte's Web is such a great book! It left a big impression on me -- probably one of the first books I ever cried over. This one was read to me by my third grade teacher, who was so sweet, and had such a kind voice. I also really enjoyed this movie, which often doesn't happen when a book is made into a movie. Do you remember being read to? What books did your teachers read to you?
Share one of your cherished book memories!

  1. This is probably the first book that ever swept me away and had me reading way past my bedtime (incognito, of course). I love it to pieces :)

  2. I LOVE this book. This was a great childhood memory. I still remember how I felt when I finished it.

Thanks for visiting! I LOVE comments! I've received several awards and because of the time involved, I now must make this an award free blog.
