Stacking the Shelves - It's Library Book Time!

As the title implies, most of what I got this week came from the library. I'm still trying to get through all the books in our Abraham Lincoln High School Book Award list. I will be booktalking them to some librarians before school starts.

From the Library:
Rikers High, by Paul Volponi

Impulse, by Ellen Hopkins

Purchased:
City of Bones, by Cassandra Clare, eBook for $.99!
I've read this one before, but a long time ago, so if I ever want to continue the series (which I do) I'll need to read this one again. Who can pass up 99 cents?

For Review:
Return to Willow Lake, by Susan Wiggs from NetGalley

Not a big week, but that just means it's time to catch up! Thanks for stopping by. Make sure you stop by Tynga's Reviews to check out the other blogs participating. I'm on vacation, but leave your link and I'll get back to you eventually.

Also, don't forget to check out my ARC Giveaway!

Happy Reading everyone!

  1. My friend loves Ellen Hopkins so I hope you enjoy that one! :) Also, City of Bones was a really good book! The ending was really annoying, and somewhat really killing, too! :) Enjoy!

  4. These look great, I've just finished the latest Cassandra Clare's series, and it was good, but less so (for me) than the first three. Not that that changes my mind about CC being a great storyteller, because I'm in love with her The Infernal Devices series.
    Happy reading :-)
