Literary Vacations: If you could take a trip this summer to
any place within a fictional book, where would you go? Tell us about your
summer dream vacation!
I know a lot of people will probably put crazy answers (or what I consider crazy) about crazy dystopian or apocalyptic worlds populated with all sorts of dangerous paranormal creatures. No way. I'm going to vacation on my vacation.
I recently read Barefoot Season, by Susan Mallery, and while there were things about the book I didn't care for, the setting wasn't one of them! I want to go to Blackberry Island and stay at the inn, run by Michelle and Carly. I want them to pamper me, and feed me all sorts of delicious meals, many of them featuring blueberries. I want to wander in the quaint little shops that I imagine line the streets. And, although I can't remember if a beach was mentioned, I'm sure there's a spectacular one. Ahhh..... can't wait......

Now THIS sounds like my kind of vacation! Relaxing, being pampered, YES please! I love towns that have little shops in an area that is fun to walk around! Love this idea!

OMg who's want to stay in a dystopian? I'd die within the first few minutes!! haha. I'd want to be pampered too! :)
