ReplyDeleteOur StS for the week =)
I've heard great things about DEAR LIFE, YOU SUCK!!! (jk. I'm the author) It's over the top edgy, lots of politically incorrect humor, profanity, etc. So if you like ultra-edgy/ultra-real, teen boy sarcasm/wise-assyness, you'll like it. Otherwise...
ReplyDeleteAll my best,
Scott
I just read my post and it sounds misleading. There are many reasons why the main character acts and talks the way he does, which is revealed in the story. There's great depth, thoughtfulness, and heart in the boy, he's just had a horrific past so he's tough, mistrusting, and sarcastic on the surface. Thought I should clarify so you didn't think it was just 300 pages of foul-mouthed teenage boy ranting.

Thanks for commenting (and clarifying!) I've read it and enjoyed it. My review will post on this blog about a week before publication. Congratulations on your book!
