Book Moments: What has been your favorite moment (scene) in a book that you've read so far in 2012? Please be kind & not include spoilers.
The first one that came to mind was the scene at the end of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, when they are on the steps outside the building.
And one more: In Under the Never Sky when Aria runs away from Perry and is in a cave, and.....(no spoilers...)
Let me know which scenes you think are "must reads!"
Parajunkee and Alison have a question many of us talk about a lot:
Q: What book would you love to see made into a movie or
television show and do you have actors/actresses in mind to play the main
characters?
I don't think about this a lot, since I'm usually disappointed in the results of "books to movies." I'd have to say, since Hunger Games is getting so much hype, I think Divergent would be a good movie. I also really like the Flavia De Luce Mysteries, and would enjoy seeing those on the screen.
What great ones am I forgetting? Hope you have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
I am usually disappointed by books to movies as well. Check out my FF here.
ReplyDeleteNew follower! Happy reading :)
I wanted to pick moments from The Statistical Probability too!! But, as you saw, I decided on another favorite. :) Awesome picks!
ReplyDeleteDivergent might be a good choice because it's so popular. I just haven't read it yet, so I don't know lol!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

I almost picked Divergent, but instead I went with The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. If Hunger Games turns out really good (keeping my fingers crossed) I hope thats a spring board to make Divergent.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read TSPOLAFS yet but I'm planning on it as soon as Amazon ships it to me :)
Aw, I haven't read those yet! One of these days...
ReplyDeleteBoth of the books you mentioned for the excerpts are on my TBR list. I can't wait to get to them!
ReplyDeleteI just picked up my copy of Under the Never Sky. Looking forward to some great reading
